DocSupport is run by Professor Narinder Kapur.

Narinder Kapur trained at Queen’s University Belfast, and at the Aphasia Research Centre in the Boston University School of Medicine. He has previously worked as Head of Neuropsychology at the Wessex Neurological Centre in Southampton, and at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. He is currently honorary consultant neuropsychologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and he is also visiting Professor of Neuropsychology at University College London. In addition to his NHS work, he has a private practice in London. He is past President and a founder member of the British Neuropsychological Society.

He has published extensively in the area of patient safety, clinical excellence and clinical governance. Some of these publications are available on the Professionalism page of this website.

Professor Kapur has written a book about doctors who become ill, Injured Brains of Medical Minds: Views from Within. Oxford University Press, 1997.
